SAILING FEDERATION LICENCES

About Licenses

The federation license includes the mandatory sports insurance (accident and third-party liability coverage in accordance with current regulations).

It is mandatory for Spanish sailors and foreign sailors residing in Spain who participate in regattas included in the official calendar.

Foreign sailors residing outside Spain must hold a federation license issued by their National Authority recognized by World Sailing or alternatively have valid individual insurance coverage. Otherwise, they must apply for a temporary 1 Regatta license.

Main Types of Licenses

1 Regatta License. License valid for a single regatta only, such as La Ruta de la Sal Rumbo Ibiza.

Deportista Senior License. Annual license for sailors over 18 years old.
